Job Overview
HIDRATE Beverages is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Accounts & Finance team in Jammu. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting overall financial management activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare and maintain GST records and ensure timely compliance.
- Handle TDS calculations and statutory filings.
- Maintain inventory accounting records and stock reconciliations.
- Process payroll and employee reimbursement records.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial statements.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Coordinate with auditors and support audit requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of financial records.
- Monitor expenses and support cost control initiatives.
Qualifications
- B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, Tally ERP, Busy, or similar accounting software.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Experience
- 1–5 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, beverages, or related industries will be an advantage.
- Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may also apply.
